I full understand the scope of this piece is to focus on the mindset. and help an any individual match the attitude to the task. But I feel it only speaks to a minor group of people, globally. It is not taken into considerations that source of the attitudes the "poor" might form over their lifetime. It doesn't take into consideration the control of resources, access to resources, tools, demographics, politics, sociaities, policies...etc.
It feel more of a piece geared into the a lazy/spoiled individual, born into a resourceful space/network, and trying to snapping them into working.
I am sorry if this is coming off rude, but I feel this directive and narrative has been overplayed lately, and yet, it forms a mindset of: let us put empathy aside, build brutal individuals, seperate people into winners and losers based on outputs and not results, and create a constant zero-sum game.
